19 of Medvedev's 21 championships have been earned on hardcourt
A revitalized Medvedev secured his maiden championship for 882 days with victory over Frenchman Moutet in the competition championship match.
The Russian, a ex- top-ranked player, has had a challenging year, winning just a single victory at the Grand Slams and experiencing a difficult moment at the US Open.
The player's varied form on the professional circuit - and issues with his serve in particular - caused him dropping out of the world's top 10 and eventually splitting with long-time mentor Cervara.
Presently training with his coach and Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually progressed in the past month - climaxing in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over opponent Moutet.
It is his maiden trophy since the Italian tournament and first on a hard court from that period of 2023.

"For the first time I have attended a competition with my two daughters simultaneously, so to win a title is especially meaningful," commented tennis professional Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my younger daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I won when my child her name was delivered was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had failed in his previous six title deciders, comprising in the German tournament in the past months.
His defensive approach and regular reactions on court had led observers to wonder if his skill to perform at the elite level was over.
But the athlete has altered his approach in the past month, striving to come to the net and perform positively, supported by an improved serve.
The champion recovered from a deficit in the initial set against the challenging opponent, securing 4 of the final five games to take the lead.
The pair swapped breaks in the middle set before Moutet, attempting for his first tour championship, seized the initiative to create a decider.
He defended 4 early-game break points in a competitive third set before the champion secured a break to that score to serve for the match.
Fittingly, Medvedev secured victory with a rally at the front of the court, with Moutet incapable to manage a return after a lengthy match.
